Nutley knows how to kick off the holidays, and this year’s 63rd Annual Nutley Chamber of Commerce Santa’s Arrival was a perfect example of why. Held on Friday, November 28, 2025, at the Nutley High School Park Oval, the event brought families together for a free afternoon filled with music, performances, holiday surprises, and the grand moment everyone waits for, Santa and Mrs. Claus arriving on a Nutley Fire Truck! From dancing and live carols to family photo time and the special Letters to Santa mailbox, the Oval was packed with festive energy and hometown pride.

For Applause Home Care, being there was about more than enjoying the celebration; it was about showing up for the community we serve. Our team braved the wind, the cold, and the Black Friday crowds because events like this are where real connection happens: neighbors gathering, kids laughing, and local organizations coming together to keep Nutley’s traditions strong. We loved seeing so many families making memories, sharing smiles during photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus, and soaking in the joy of the season.

Community is at the heart of what we do. Supporting Nutley’s longstanding traditions is one way we stay connected to the people, families, and local partners who make this town feel like home. We’re grateful to the Nutley Chamber of Commerce and the Township of Nutley for creating such a meaningful holiday kickoff, and we’re proud to be part of it.

During the latter part of his successful 25-year career in control functions within the financial services industry, he volunteered in to assist elders in the community. The satisfaction and CARE that Jim RECEIVED from helping others in the “encore” of their lives helped him to learn about CARE PARTNERING not just “care giving”. These experiences also made Jim reconsider what he wanted to do with the rest of his career and life. Jim holds a BS Degree from New York University in Accounting and Finance and an MBA from Fordham University. He is also a Certified Homemaker-Home Health Aide by the NJ Board of Nursing and a Certified Public Accountant in New York.
